The purpose of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out. (Proverbs 20:5). Long ago, a man named Solomon wiselynoted that the human heart is like the deepest ocean: dark, mysterious, and beyond our comprehension. It takes tebunah —the Hebrew word for understanding, cleverness, or skill—to navigate the heart’s deep and turbulent waters.
